He’s an amazing spiritual teacher and guide. He teaches us how to live a high vibrational lifestyle. He’s all these wonderful decks. These Oracle cards. He teaches us how to work with crystals, and I’m very honored to have worked with him recently on a raise your vibration challenge that we did together with hay house. Kimberly: 00:37 So Mr. Kyle, it’s so good to talk to you. We, um, we actually worked together without working together per se, on this hay house audio program, which was amazing. Raise your vibration. And it was so funny cause Mateo who we both work with your name. And I said, Kyle, Kyle Gray, Kyle Gray. And then, you know what happened, Kyle? I ran upstairs and for a little backstory, I live in this little town outside Los Angeles and there’s like one general store. And then there’s like three other stores. And one of the three other stores has like little gifts and things. And I was in there one day and I was really called to this little, this set of cards, these angels and ancestors cards. I had them and I’ve been working with them for a few months. And so when I said, okay, I’m working with Kyle Grant on this audio call or, you know, this audio program I ran upstairs and I pulled them out and I got goosebumps. Cause I said it was Kyle Gray, DEC. I felt so connected to you. And I said, oh my gosh, I have to have him on our podcast.

Kyle: 01:43 Thank you for having me. Thanks for buying the cards.

Kimberly: 01:47 It’s funny how, um, how everything is, you know, we’re all so connected. We’re in, you know, the vibrational flow of everything. Yeah. And where are you based, Kyle? Are you in,

Kyle: 01:57 I’m in Glasgow. In Scotland. I live in a little, um, a little town called bears, Dan, uh, Dan, where a bear would live and uh, yeah. Uh, so I moved here, uh, in lockdown last winter to this house that I built completely it during a pandemic, which isn’t seen

Kimberly: 02:22 On hand.

Kyle: 02:22 No, no, no. I just like the spot and builders built it.

Kimberly: 02:28 Wow. Amazing. I have to say that. I think Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I think, you know, people don’t realize those mountains and the long-haired cows. I mean, it’s, it’s very mystical and

Kyle: 02:40 Magical the rings, right? Yeah. Yeah.

Kimberly: 02:44 It’s a little, it’s a little rainy for me. I’m I’m like tropical girl, but I really love, love the beauty there. It’s amazing. Yeah.

Kyle: 02:52 We had a really great summer though, like, you know, for eight, pretty hot for us anyway. So that was nice.

Kyle’s connection to all these multidimensional ways of looking at things, as he progresses spiritually

Kimberly: 03:03 So Kyle, when I, when I was working with your deck, um, what I really appreciated about it was you’re pulling from so many different cultures and traditions I come from, are you Veda and Yogi? And so, you know, my archetypes tend to be Honeyman who sits on my desk and Durga and I work a lot with the Indian archetypes. Um, do you tell us about your connection to all these different cultures? Is that something that you, you grew up with, you know, these, this multi-dimensional way of looking at things, or is it something that you learned later as you progress spiritually?

Kyle: 03:39 Yeah. I I’ve always been connected to spiritual stuff and I’ve had, I was an early starter, you know, I started very young with this deep interest in what goes beyond this realm. And when I was, when I was a little bio, I was very, very ill. I had an auto-immune virus called Gombar syndrome. I was paralyzed in a wheelchair, you know, so I had this kind of outer body experience from very young and it kind of sensitized me to being able to feel beyond the body. And, um, I had this experience of, um, being visited by my grandmother who had passed away. And I was only four years old and ever since I was four years old, old, I had this big question of what is out there, you know? And if we don’t see people until we go, wherever we go, then why did I have this experience I had that, you know, like you’re taught when you’re young, that when someone dies, you don’t see them again. Whereas I was having the experience of seeing them again and again, and again,

Kimberly: 04:51 Physically seeing them, Kyle, where you just feeling their presence, their energy,

Kyle: 04:55 Phil, Phil visitation, like re would never have known they were the past a week. Cause I was having these experiences before I was even told that she’d crossed over. So it was, it sent me on this big Seretse and, and, and my interest in spirituality as a whole was kind of barn then. And I’ve always, I’ve never questioned if there’s a higher power, it’s just always been a deep knowing. And one of the things that I realized when I started to kind of reset spirituality and Dale deep into it, as that for spirituality is for everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from. But I realized that in the kind of wellness, spiritual space, a lot of people were being forgotten about it. And it was only kind of centered on one person. And so I never really wanted to speak for anyone, but I wanted to make my, my spirituality welcoming to all people from all backgrounds, from all cultures. And so we’re with the ancestors, Oracle in specific, we actually can have opened up to people from all different cultures and backgrounds to come in. And everyone in the deck is actually a model who, who dedicated their time to being in it, you know?

Kimberly: 06:16 Well, all of them came and, um, spend time with you

Kyle: 06:20 Personally. It was, it was an artist that I, we hired and she kind of opened up and she, she lives in Australia. And so like the Aboriginal man in the deck cause actually a real Aboriginal man who sat for her. Wow. It’s just like such an amazing mediums. Um, so yeah, I, I, I’m interested in God and all forms. I actually have a hard amount of tattoo and my power pose.

Kimberly: 06:55 Um, yes, my son, my younger son’s middle name is hunter Mon.

Kyle: 07:00 Yes. I love Honoman because you know, when he, he ripped open his chest and his heart, you know, and for me, I just think that’s so sacred that the idea that insight dissolve the divine is waiting to, for us to arrive. I think that’s just such a beautiful thing.

Kimberly: 07:20 And I also love how Honda mine reminds us that we’re here to serve, you know, the light to serve the light inside, to serve each other. And that’s really whatever we’re doing. It’s, you know, it should be centered on service primarily. So, you know, when you were talking about your grandma, Kyle, I just started getting goose goosebumps because I’m not in that physical form, but I’ve never actually shared this publicly, but my mom passed suddenly, um, in, uh, about four years ago. And it was right when my older son turned one and it was like, we found out she had cancer and she was gone in six weeks and it was this big, you know, I held her in my arms when she passed. Like, I literally felt that last breath. And then a few months after she passed, I put down Emerson, I put down our son and then I went downstairs and I looked in the, we had like a big iPad baby monitor.

Kimberly: 08:12 And I saw my mom over the crib and my dad was there and my dad is not like, you know, like, you know, as open as us, shall I say? And he said, I said, did you see that? And he goes, oh yeah, that was you. And I said, no, it’s not me because this is a real-time monitor and I’m here. So she was, she appeared and, um, you know, it was just like, everything in my life was just opening up and opening up. And that’s when around then is when I had the idea to start Solluna because I started my, I started my career, Kyle and nutrition. My first two books were really nutrition focused. And then my third book I started going to chakra is fourth book I wrote with Deepak Chopra’s was getting more and more spiritual. And now it’s, you know, that’s a big core of my work is talking about this because that all of that just really opened me up to, wow, there’s so much more than this.

The difference between spirituality and religion

Kimberly: 08:59 And there’s so much more to wellness and healing than just food, you know? So it’s a huge, huge component is that connection, that inner connection and that self-awareness. And so as I started to go down this path, Kyle, um, you know, I get a lot of questions and you may be do as well about the difference between spirituality and religion. You know, I talk about your spirituality to me is like awakeness connection. Um, and I say, it’s not about, you know, it doesn’t have to be organized. It doesn’t have to be dogmatic or exclusive. How do you, um, how would you define spirituality in your, um, in your way

Kyle: 09:34 Spirituality is, is basically instead of the study of the divine, the experience of it like that. I

Kimberly: 09:43 Like that. I like that clarity. Yeah. That’s

Kyle: 09:45 Basically the, the differences that spirituality is, is, is, is a practice. You know, it’s what you’re doing. So all religions have spirituality within it. That’s, that’s the truth. Um, but you can also just have spirituality without religion. Um, and, and that’s basically what it is for me is the real differences. One is the study of, and the dogma of, uh, of, of a being and the other is the divine connection experience of it. Um, so that’s the real difference for me. And I think that, um, religion served a purpose for a long time, but I think we’re in this really big shifting Aquarian age where we’re realizing that we don’t really need to fall into a category or a bracket anymore that we can transcend it. And I think religion served a purpose for a long time because it kind of kept people in order.

Kyle: 10:44 But now I think everyone’s starting to kind of realize that every single action stack, um, move the make in their life is having some sort of impact. And I think social media is an amazing teacher of that, is that everything you do has a consequence in some way. And even if you don’t have a belief in a higher power, you’re starting to recognize that every single person has influence, you know, so I think that the realize of that self is kind of breaking down the walls of religion. And I think that the world is being re renewed, um, by the idea that they can have an experience themselves. Yes, I am. I write about angels predominantly, but, um, energy as a whole. And one of the things that I realized when I was writing angel numbers was we looked into the statistics behind spirituality, the nuances, and we found this kind of paper. It was from 2016 that, um, in, uh, a grip study of people, um, two in three Americans believe in some sort of higher or connection and one in every one of them 10. And every of those people believe that, of how their own direct experience, which I found really cool. So like one in every 10th person believes they’ve had a direct encounter of the divine. And if that’s not evidence enough that something else is happening out there, then I don’t know what is, you know,

Kimberly: 12:17 I love, oh my gosh, you know, thank you for bringing up the angels, Kyle, because I’ve always, you know, we hear this. So I grew up Catholic, first of all, you know, just at the tail end of that discussion,

Kyle: 12:28 No joke.

What guardian angels are and what they mean to each of us

Kimberly: 12:31 I felt, I always felt so connected to Jesus and to angels. And I didn’t, um, I didn’t always feel, you know, to be honest much when I would go to mass and I would go to some of the more ceremonial things. So I had this period, which, you know, I think, you know, maybe, maybe a lot of us have teens early twenties where I felt a little bit of a raft. I was just kind of going out. I was backpacking. I was doing all these different things, but, you know, there was that calling back in and back in. And when I backed back to India, I really felt, you know, this Alliance, this, you know, meditation like going inside of me, but I’ve always felt connected to the angels. And, um, can you share a little bit about your insight with that? Do you, are there specific, you know, cause you know about the arc angels, like Archangel, Michael and so on, are they, um, cause I don’t know as much about, you know, like explaining this, do we, do you believe how we each have our own specific guardian angel, but the arc angels can be with, you know, infinite amounts of us at once.

Kimberly: 13:28 Yeah.

Kyle: 13:29 Here’s, here’s the way I look at it. I see the universe as this one and I think that we are all part of that one. It’s like a collective consciousness and that consciousness goes beyond what we can even comprehend. But I also believe that we all have the capacity and the ability to have a direct expedience of that consciousness. And an angel is basically divine consciousness in personified form. It’s like the universe basically think of it like this. If the universe was to be RuPaul, the angels would be a drag queen. You know, it’s like the angels are like God and drag or source and drag they’re, they’re this expression of the divine. Um, not separate from it, but one with it, but appealing as individual and separate so that we can have our own experience of it. So for me, the angels is more like a force that is co collective, but we can have our own expedience solvent.

Kyle: 14:35 And so that’s what we would call the guardian angel. You know, this being that’s with us all the way. And um, what I really love is this teaching from a course in miracles that says the angels are the thoughts of God. And I like to spin it a little bit and think of it this way. If God was to be a heart, every beat would be an angel. You know, it’s like angels are the heartbeats of the divine. And so people always say to me, why are you so interested in speaking to an angel when you can go to God directly? And I always say, well, when I’m speaking to an angel, they are the heartbeat of God. And so therefore when I’m speaking to an angel, I’m in direct connection with the heart of the divine. Wow. So there’s no separation in the conversation. As far as I’m concerned, it’s just like exp it’s love expressing itself and love has many forms. And one of those forms is angels. Okay.

Kimberly: 16:44 When I went to India the first time I was like blown away by all these different figures and there’s hot new wine there’s jirga and there’s Saraswati and there’s all of that. Um, and then I realized like similar, similarly to what you were saying, and they’re different parts of the divine eight, they encapsulate, or they, um, embody a different aspect like resourcefulness or strength or creativity. And that really touched me because, you know, I’m very connected to Honoman. I want to feel that, um, connection to devotee ser servant all the time, but sometimes you don’t people think, oh, there’s like, you’re praying all these different guides gods. And it’s, it’s not that, like you said, it’s, it’s oneness and there’s just all these different expressions. And when we, when we tune into that, it, um, it’s really beautiful. It doesn’t have to be all these divisions and all these different separations that sometimes it’s common to fall into.

Kyle: 17:41 Right. And all the, all the devas of Hinduism are all extensions of brown, you know, like they’re all, um, let’s all Brahma is just the echo. You know, that’s one thing that’s described in the partner shards is that all divas or the echo of Brahma, you know, like it’s an echo of it. It’s just an extension.

Kyle shares the different aspects of his spiritual practice

Kimberly: 18:00 Yes. So can you share a little bit about your personal, um, spiritual practice, Kyle, when you meditate or you pray do different aspects come in or do you have like a central practice that you work with?

Kyle: 18:13 I’ve my, I think my whole entire life is a spiritual practice. You know, like everything I’m doing, I like to think of it being in the high vibration lifestyle. So everything to like how I feel the body, why in the body as like central to my spiritual practice, I have a meditation practice. It’s 22 minutes a day, you know, um, I have a Kundalini yoga practice and I have a physical yoga practice. So I like, I did quite a lot of things. And you know, I think a lot of people can feel inadequate when you hear someone having like all these different aspects to their spiritual practice. But I think five minutes a day, you know, just spend and being able to say, I’m willing to listen. You know, I’m willing to hear is, is more than enough, you know? Um, but for a long, I’ve been meditating for 18 years and I’ve heard that a physical yoga practice for 10 years.

Kyle: 19:18 And, and I found that the way to the soul is through the body. And I think a lot of people seem to think that we go straight to the soul, but unless we’re willing to hear ourself and listen to our own body, then it can be really difficult to hear what goes beyond it. And I was the opposite. I was all soul, soul soul. And then I came crashing back to the body, you know, and, um, and I realized that it has to be mind, body and spirit. And the mind is kind of like the garden, the Elijah to connect body and soul is one, you know,

Kimberly: 19:58 Kyle, it’s so interesting. You say that I’ve had that realization quite recently myself, because I like being up in the crown chakra, you know, there’s still safe to me. I like that. I’m very Vata in my, you know, are you baited constitution? Um, and I wasn’t as connected to my body, you know, this whole concept of spiritual bypass, like, oh no, I just like being up here. I don’t have to like deal with this, but it’s true. Like the, the, the body wisdom and, you know, just breathing in and processing the, you know, most, all of us have some trauma from our childhood and it’s true. Like it gets in the body and without process feeling feelings and emotions. Cause I realized now as an adult, how much I pushed down things I don’t want to feel and it’s still in there, there’s energy in there. And so working through the body to release has been a really big part of my, um, spiritual growth over the past two years.

Kyle: 20:51 Yeah. I th I think it’s so important to, to be claim the body from a spiritually centered way of being, you know, because then you realize, oh, this is the vehicle in, which allows me to be in sever, you know, allows me to be in service. It allows me to, to navigate this world. And the truth is I genuinely believe that all of us have chosen to be here. Not EV not everything has been set out are, you know, planned, but we have chosen to come in and therefore it would make more sense to me that we make this expedience of being here as pleasant and as pleasurable as possible.

Kimberly: 21:40 How long would you say to someone or, you know, how, how do you reconcile the balance within yourself of, you know, you’re this, we are essentially the true self, this formless part of us. And yet at the same time we have this physicality. So how do we balance the emphasis? Because it gets imbalanced either way, right. And I’ve balanced, like you care so much about your weight or you care so much about your hair or how you look, or, you know, I’ve gone the other way where I’m just like on this formless being, and I’m up here, how do, how do we, how do we balance it?

Kyle: 22:11 I, I mean, that’s a really great question and I don’t know if I’ve got the answer yet, you know, and, and that’s okay.

How to balance the inner state of being with the external

Kimberly: 22:18 Yeah. We’re figuring it out. I think what you said about, you know, even having that, those moments to be open, I feel like, you know, so much, so many of us are in doing mode, doing mode, external, external. So even the balance could be starting with a set time to meditate a set time to just go inside and spend time in the inner state instead of always being out here. I think that’s the beginning of balance for many people.

Kyle: 22:42 Yeah. And I think there’s this, this false narrative, this kind of circulating the ether where as soon as you meditate, you know, it’s just all gonna be glorious. And, and, you know, you like close your eyes and the mind is going to switch on and switch off. And you’re going to just be completely at bliss, but that’s, that’s a false narrative. It’s probably not achievable for most Westerners. You know, we, we S we see these images of, of monks and yogis and complete like bliss more than relate. Oh, so that’s going to happen the first time I listened to this meditation, or, you know, but, but this is one thing I always say to people it’s mind fill, not maned empty, you know? So when you meditate, the main does fulfill, and there’s a lot of stuff in there. Some of it’s going to be really great and some of it’s going to be gritty, but just being able to sit with the all is the first kind of calling home. And then through that, I think we can start unifying between what can I do to serve my body in order to serve my soul.

Kimberly: 23:52 Beautiful. Yeah. To me, it’s a tool. It doesn’t mean like you said, our life is perfect. That things work out perfectly, because I know I’ve been meditating now for about 12 years and just having that connection that I can go inside. And when I meditate in the morning, I enter my day. I feel more resilient. I feel calmer. It doesn’t mean, you know, doesn’t go wrong and things happen at the same time. Um, I feel like I have a really powerful tool and I have the self connection that I didn’t have before. So I’m able to connect to my breath. I’m able to connect to, oh, this is like an old trauma response, or that’s why this bothers you so much versus being so identified with the feelings. And so that, you know, it starts to, you know, we start to feel more, um, strength, I think, going through whatever we’re going through.

Kyle: 24:44 It’s like, it’s like a muscle, you know, like the first time I ever went to spin class, I couldn’t walk for a week, you know, but I thought I was going to be super Ana and easy, you know? And it’s like, the more you do it, the easier it becomes. And, and that’s the same for meditation. You know, you can’t just walk in and do the top rep, you know, it’s going to take time and energy and effort to do that. But the thing is, we always have to remember why we get interested in these practices. And it’s because there’s a part of us that knows that this can either help maintain our wellness or take us to wellness. And itself is really important. And yet so many spiritual people drop their practice when the hits the fan when interns, But you need it the most.

Kimberly: 25:33 So I, I heard this great, this great quote pile, and I’m paraphrasing a little bit here, but it was from Martin Luther king. And he said on a daily basis, I get up and I pray for an hour. You know, he has a spiritual practice with God. So it’s, except when I’m, you know, when I’m really busy. And he said on those days, I pray for two hours.

Kyle: 25:51 Right. That makes sense.

Kimberly: 25:53 Yeah. It’s like, don’t let that be the thing that goes out the window first,

Kyle: 25:59 My, my friends and even my family are not really interested in and what I do, I’ve got the same group of friends since high school were complete. Volkers, we’re all going to a rock show tomorrow night. And, um, when they come and visit me and like, because I’m so at peace with what I do and what I need to do for my practice, they’re just like in complete acceptance, solve it. You know, like I go into my bedroom and they hear me chanting via Google for like 22 minutes. And they can hear me making all these, you know, chanting noises, but don’t even bat an eyelid because I’m so at peace with how it makes me feel. And I think a lot of people find it difficult to fit it into their life because they don’t want to disturb the environment around them. But when you, when you’re cool with what you’re doing for you, everyone else is cool with it to

Kimberly: 26:54 Do you feel like Kyle, that, that real, um, comfortability with your practice with yourself allows you to be also less judgmental of them? Because where I live in LA, you know, there’s all kinds of interesting people and there’s people that are leaking and they, they want to be, um, you know, they’re, they’re, they’re searching, um, this term comes up sometimes, you know, spiritual ego, right. Cause there’s people that are like, I’m doing this. And then they kind of, you feel like they’re kind of looking down at people that are like, oh, you D you’re not meditating. You’re, you’re, you’re unconscious. Right. So, um, let’s talk about judgment and spiritual ego for a minute. I’d love to hear your perspective. You know what I mean? You hear, I’m sure you encounter people in the space that have a little bit of spiritual ego.

Kyle: 27:40 I am, I get a lot, oh, you’re not a vegan.

Kimberly: 27:44 Right. Or just like, oh, you know it, yeah. You, you don’t, you don’t do this or you’re still doing this. And, um, you know, when Krishna DAS came on my podcast as well, well, I don’t know if you guys know each other. He’s amazing.

Kyle: 27:58 I’m a huge fan.

Kimberly: 28:00 And what he said, he’s like, listen, it’s about being a good person. He’s like, it’s not even if you meditate or not, or here, you know, doing this or that. He’s like, it’s how you treat other people. And, um, you know, that the, that spiritual ego, that, that judgment, I think can actually be a block on the path. Cause it’s just another way to put up a wall with other people. But at the same time, it can be hard to get past judgment. Right. We all judge ourselves. So then to an extent, and then we judge other people. That’s a, that’s a big one. I think for a lot of us

Kyle: 28:28 Is this holier than though mate main set it’s existed, you know, for generations. And it’s, it’s always been there. And I think when, when it starts to show up in the spiritual practices, it’s the opportunity for you to see that every relationship and every interaction with another person is an opportunity to know the divine. And so when people are kind of spiritually judgy, it’s, it’s, it’s how you react to their reaction, which is the assignment, you know? And you know, so I actually don’t get, get it that often, but I, I remember people were really shocked, you know, when I did things differently or I drank coffee or I have a beer every now and then, and people were like, oh, that’s not very spiritual of you. And I’m like, but where did you get the idea of what spiritual is? And again, it comes from this media of art.

Kyle: 29:33 Do you know what it also, there, there are spiritual man and women and wanders in India and the east who, who, who rename a lot of these things who do that’s their path. They’re, renunciates, they’re, they’re wanders, they’re solders the yogis. That’s what the chores, but it’s not the only path I chose to be a householder. I chose to have all this stuff. I, I chose to live with the material on the spirits all and yet. And that’s really what it is. I think we, we seem to think, oh, you have to be or look like this, but you can also look like this as well.

Kimberly: 30:12 Oh, funny. My, um, my husband, Kyle too, from his neck down, he’s completely tattooed. And at the time when we, when we met, you know, he has a gold grill in his teeth and he was very different than the other, you know, the yogis and the vegans and the other people I had dated, but I wasn’t where I was. So I was meditating so much. Kyle was so connected to energy and right away I felt his heart, you know, and I think another point in my life, I might’ve been more like, you know, walls are like this, you know, judgy or whatever. But, um, I dunno, I find as I go along, I just don’t, I don’t feel like strangers. I feel like I can talk to anybody anywhere. I feel I do feel more connection. And I think that’s a beautiful part of walking this path. We realized that one, this really is the truth and we’re here together on the journey together.

Kyle: 31:05 Exactly. And, and, and that’s the bow allowing your love to reach the places your love has never reached before, you know?

Managing struggles with judgement in others

Kimberly: 31:14 Yes. Yes. So you, you genuinely Kyle, like your CEO, let’s see, you hear you, so kind like so much love you. Have you ever struggled with judgment? Have you ever struggled with these walls between like you and another, it doesn’t have to be spiritual other areas or do you, you know, what did your soul come in so connected that, um, that wasn’t a challenge that you personally had to deal with?

Kyle: 31:39 No, no. I think judgment is definitely a, a thing that probably still makes itself known in my life. And, um, I also find myself resisting things as well, still to this day. I think one place that it should showed up the most was I am one of those fundamentalist, vegans and recovery. I used to be that guy and I used to get really, um, I allowed it to kind of overtake when I was much younger. Um, my psyche and, you know, I would kind of preach all the time.

Kyle: 32:19 I appreciate vegan and it took me away farther and farther and farther from myself, but I couldn’t see it until, um, I was ready to see, you know, and that’s the thing is I think that, um, all of us have some sort of trauma response and it made sense that I turned my fundamentalism into veganism at the time. Cause I come from a newborn Christian family and you know, it wasn’t direct in my household, but like all my cousins and my aunt and my uncle was a preacher, you know, that fundamentalism was, was all around me. And it was kind of embedded in me cause I went to that chart from age four till teenage years. And so it doesn’t express and my spiritual path that dead in my diet path. And I think it was because I wasn’t happy with it, you know? Um, and so yeah, I definitely had to, and then another place that shows up for me still to this day is when I go to a yoga class and someone’s sequences in a way that I know is not good for my body. It makes me kind of, but before I would have made a big deal about it, you know, but now I just like modify, yeah.

Kimberly: 33:35 Listen to your body.

Kyle: 33:36 Right. And so often, like it happened like three weeks ago and someone wanted me to like, hold the chat Teranga and I’ve displaced my collarbone in the past doing that. And I’m like, I’m not going to hold that. I’m just going to move through it and sort of like hold charge. And I was like, I’m sorry, I can’t do it. I just spent, I can’t do it. I don’t see, you know, I can’t do it on there. Okay. You can work up to I’m like, okay.

Kimberly: 34:04 Yeah. But then it becomes like, you become so confident in your own intuition and your own self connection that it doesn’t have to be judging them. It’s just like, this is right for me. And this is what, you know,

Kyle: 34:14 The thing is this, like, it doesn’t have to be a judgment. I’m just like, sorry, I can’t do it. And that’s it. And before I even like, who do they think they are? They don’t know how to sequence properly. They should know anatomy, you know, like I could go down that road. Yeah. So yeah, I’ve definitely, definitely hard to, but, um, I definitely feel like the older I’ve gotten, you know, um, the more kind of chill I’ve become and also having dogs, teachers, your patients, I, our elders,

Kimberly: 34:43 I have, I have babies. Kyle, you have for babies, baby. They are, they’re so present. Um, and the patients, because, you know, you can’t force them to sleep faster or to wake up, you know, my baby sometimes wake us up at five and I say, wake up at six a little later, you know, it just is what it is. And so it is a great opportunity to rise up to this moment and find peace with it.

Kyle: 35:11 Absolutely.

Ways to find compassion in a divided world

Kimberly: 35:15 Where I live, I live in America, Kyle, as you know, from my accent. And, um, you know, I just look around and you were talking about going into the age of Aquarius and I feel there is a rising consciousness. I feel hopeful. Right. But at the same time, there is a lot of division right now, politically, you know, we had the election a few months ago. There’s um, you know, there’s a lot of stuff around COVID and all these different things going on. And I just think, oh my gosh, you know, we just need to listen to each other more. We need to find bridges. We need to find more compassion. We need to find more love. And so how do you feel about, um, you know, one hand I feel hopeful, but on one hand there is, you know, the tail and the Kali yoga, the darkness, that’s still there, you know, hopefulness. Do you feel like we’re coming together more? Kyle?

Kyle: 36:03 You know, I, I it’s, um, there’s this quote by Pam or children that says, um, you’ll never know what it feels like to be fearless and last you have an experienced fear and it makes me think of this time and last we know unless we’ve experienced, um, separation, we’ll never really understand what together. And I says, yeah. And so I think there’s some sort of synergetic relationship with the opposing forces of the planet right now. And I think that we’re kind of being driven apart in order to fall together. I think that’s really where it is. You know, I, I, it’s kinda like that magnet theory of opposite attracts. Uh, so I, I do feel like there, there is something happening and there is a rewiring happening, but I also think that, um, this is a time where we’re learning, everyone’s learning that they have a voice and that they have influence. And it just so happens to be that everyone has a different voice in a different influence in a different direction. But I do feel that the opposing forces will in some way lead us to conjoining once more. I really, I really do believe that. And it’s funny because, um, America with no offense sometimes thinks it’s the only place in the world, but it does

Kimberly: 37:32 Take it. I understand that,

Kyle: 37:33 But it does influence here because like I, I’m constantly asked about American politics and the medical stuff, and yet our country, like Scotland is echoing a lot of what is happening there as well. So I do think in some way, because there are so many people there and there is such a huge energy in that part of the world. It does have some sort of energetic pulse through the planet, you know? So it has been challenging. I don’t know about you, but I I’ve kind of wanted to dislike, go back into a cave and, and shut the door, you know? And, um, yeah, it’s been interesting.

Kimberly: 38:14 Well, I think at this time, you know, we have to be part of it. You know, the, the honeymoon comes in, like that’s where I get really, like I have to do my part. Um, I really feel like, uh, my next book, Kyle’s my best book, which is really about, you know, teaching what has helped me the most, the true self oneness. And I look at the heal, like the beginning of healing, you know, over the past years as well, the Asian hate I’m half Asian. So I did feel, I felt that personally in my ancestral lineage as well, um, as particularly there was a, you know, a six year old woman, I’m half full of peanut. There’s a six year old woman in times square that was like hitting the head by a hammer, um, fusion. And like that stuff like really brought up a lot of emotions in me.

Healing limited beliefs through ancestral healing

Kimberly: 38:58 And of course there’s life, there’s all this stuff. And we have this, um, we’re here, but back to, you know, your angels and ancestors card, the reason I was drawn to it so much was like, you know, there’s, there’s wisdom like we’re here, but we were these divinity individualized, but we are part of these ancestral lines as well, like teachers and healers. The part of our DNA that comes from the past and something I’ve also been working on is ancestral healing, um, in my line and like healing limited beliefs and things that were passed to me is that, is that something that’s also part of your work? Um, let’s say, you know, you start to wake up more and you think, oh, this, you know, this idea about, about money or energy or judgment. Actually, I experienced it in my, with my parents and my grandparents, but it isn’t how I want to live my life. Now,

Kyle: 39:44 You know, your, your ancestors and every generation, whether they believe in God or not have prayed for a better way, they’ve prayed for change. They’ve prayed for liberation have prayed for, you know, that feeling of, of safety. And I believe that you’re, and I’m saying that to you, but everyone, right, you were born and responds to their prayers. Your life is not by accident. It’s as far purpose and on purpose. And your, your expedience of liberation is what frees the ancestry. You know, so your life is, is an opportunity to do the things that they could not do and, and speak the words that they could not speak. You know? And so I think even if you don’t realize, eh, if we are centered on doing spiritual work and wanting to live a high vibrational life and wanting to serve the world and make a difference and leave a positive mark it’s, it’s, it’s, uh, a by-product that you’ll heal your ancestry, that you’ll allow your, your healing to reach deep into the roots of where you have come from.

Kyle: 41:06 I genuinely believe that. So, um, I, I know I, you know, for me, I think there’s definitely been on sexual healing, but, you know, I don’t think it, I think it says difficult for someone who’s 51% and Scottish and 49% Irish, you know, I’m like Philly, I’m so white, I’m pink, you know, so it’s all there’s privilege in that. And it’s always going to be easier for me to heal my lineage than maybe someone else. But what I will say is I think that, um, the recognition of what is possible is, is been very healing and teaching for, for some of my family. You know, my cousins came over, um, last week we’ve been on lockdown until a month ago. Like we were for eight to 18 months and, and complete, and I’ve had COVID twice, you know? And so, and, um,

Kimberly: 42:01 You have it bad, Kyle,

Kyle: 42:03 The F yes, both times, but in very different ways, my dad had long COVID, my mom’s brother died of COVID. So like it was, or a family super hard. And, um, you know, I mean, it’s, it’s one of those things, right. But, um, we were all speaking the other week and it was like my cousin and I were both fairly successful in the things that we do. And we’re speaking about like, how cool is that? We’re basically showing the next generation of what is possible for them. Like I worked grandparents were so poor and didn’t have, you know, a penny and had a huge Irish family and, you know, weren’t able to make ends meet. And yet here we are both entrepreneurs showing what’s possible. And I’ve said, well, you know, we’re not just doing this for ourselves and for the next generation, we’re also doing it for them, you know, because I know for a fact that my grandmother would have loved to have had this freedom, you know, and my, she lived in social housing, her whole life, you know, it’s just one of those things.

Kimberly: 43:05 Oh yeah. It’s amazing. I think about, you know, my mom came over on an academic scholarship from the Philippines and I th you know, when I backpack there and I saw where she grew up, which was like very small, like, you know, one and a half, two room house with like six kids, all the people, I just think, wow, you know, the upper, like she came and I have all this opportunity and it could easily have gone the other way, you know, it could have totally air. So it’s, it’s beautiful to honor that and to be grateful and to use our potential, to help others and to serve. And like you said, to also serve the healing of the lie.

Kyle: 43:39 Absolutely.

Kimberly: 43:40 So I want to get real practical for a moment. Uh, Kyle, I could talk to you forever, but as we kind of, um, you know,

Kyle: 43:48 Cheek surf and redder and redder, you can tell I’m I’m pizza Kapha. Right.

Oracle cards and tips on how to use them in your spiritual practice

Kimberly: 43:53 I love it. Um, the CAPA as well. So w I had to be totally honest with you. I love your deck so much. I don’t have a lot of cards, but I was drawn to your cards. And I ha I, I, um, I do something called I don’t admit it here. I’ll meditate. Or sometimes I’ll just like, have something that I want the answer for, and then I’ll shuffle them and I’ll pull the cards and I’ll be like, I really like these cards. I’ll do it and get it together till I get the ones I like. I mean, can you share with us, like, from, as the creator of the deck, what is the best way to work with cards? And, um, you know, maybe explain just in a or two, what, what the decks are, if someone’s like, what, what are they talking about? And you would know what cards are decks.

Kyle: 44:36 Yeah. So, um, Oracle cards are angel cards are, are basically just another guidance tool that helps us access the answers that we already know. Like that’s, that’s it. And the cards, aren’t the magic you are. They’re basically mirrors that mirror back to you information that’s already rising up inside of you. And when we work with cards, we have an opportunity to have a direct experience with divine guidance and the givers, a physical representation of what the guidance we need is never thought being said, every single person who’s worked with any sort of divination tool, Tyro, Oracle cards, angel cards have always picked up cards, filled out a card they didn’t like, and they put it back in and try it again. Now, the truth is if we want our relationship with the divine to be open and clear, it has to be based upon the principles of truth and integrity. And then those moments we put the card back in is because there’s a part of us. That’s not willing to be powerful enough to know the truth.

Kimberly: 45:55 You go with what you draw first.

Kyle: 45:57 Right? So you can ask for more information, but you can’t put it back in and try again, cause you’ll pick the same card again and again, and again, like it seems to happen.

Kimberly: 46:07 And you want to, what’s interesting though, is you said in the, um, like the little booklet that comes with the cards that it’s best to work with the cards after you meditate, or like when you’re in a more clear space, cause let’s say you’re just kind of frenetic or you’re focused on one thing it’s maybe a little skewed or a little bit more blocked.

Kyle: 46:24 If you’re frantic, they’re gonna mirror back to you. So you’ll get frantic answers. They’ll not make sense. So they would not have clarity if you’ve, you know, had like an ice bath or a shower or you’ve been a run or a nature. And then you go to the car and you’ll always get more clarity because you’re in a clearer space. They don’t just read your, but they read your environment. So what you’re giving off is what they’re going to give you back. There are mirrors that set. So I always say this prayer, thank you, angels and ancestors, if you want for revealing to me what I need to know what I need to know, because we always go to the cars when we want, but there’s a difference between what we want and what we need. So thank you for revealing to me what I need to know. I’m willing to listen.

How to use crystals for healing

Kimberly: 47:10 Yes. I love that. Thank you. And also I saw that you’re starting to work or maybe starting, but, um, I saw a lot of information about crystals that you’re putting out, working with crystals. Can you share a little bit, um, but your philosophy with crystals and how we can best work?

Kyle: 47:26 Oh, I love it. You know, that, um, crystals have were my number one thing before I found angels and cards, they were my thing. And, well, it was just, it was my interested, I, I studied holistic therapy and I was the only person in my whole year who was interested in crystals. And I used to go into colleges and demonstrate how to use crystals for healing. Um, so yeah, crystals for me are physical representations of transformation because before a crystal existed as this physical, you know, beautiful thing, you know, before we had this lovely crystal, it existed as gases and liquids deepen the air and through pressure. And he, and the plates of the earth moving crystals could no longer exist in their previous farm. And they were forced to transform into something new. So the reason that human beings are so drawn to crystals, not just because they’re beautiful and shiny is because when we hold them, we know that transformation is possible that we can be served a difficult pressure to situation, and we can turn it around. We can elevate or expedience. Wow.

Kimberly: 48:44 I’ve never heard it put that way. And would you say Kyle, like different, like rose quartz, um, for love or, you know, I have a Malakai. I have this rose quartz that I like to work with, um, for love, you know, there’s a girl, Casey would say like different crystals have different energies or my, you know, my Malakai here, the beautiful green for the heart. Do you, um, do you know, is that part of your practice is working with different crystals for different purposes?

Tips on how to use different crystals for different purposes

Kyle: 50:10 Yeah, absolutely. I, I have this new way of thinking about crystals it and I use the opposites, um, on, so, you know, your shockers of all different colors. Um, so most people think to heal the heart. We need green. The heart chakra is known as, for example, but I, I do the opposite. I use red on the heart because right, no, it’s at, it’s on the color wheel, the opposite to green as red. And so when you want to draw something out of the green, because the green is always whole, it’s always heal, but the pain sets in top of it. So you’d put the red on it to dry out. So the green can shine again. Um, so I have this opposites attract thing going on with the crystals as well.

Kimberly: 51:01 I just got goosebumps that resonates so deeply because I, my journey, I realized, you know, when part of my childhood trauma was, you know, a bit of, uh, abandonment and neglect, you know, my parents are amazing and they did their best, but that’s how I processed it. And so I’ve been really working on my root chakra, which is the color red, and that is like going to help me heal my heart.

Kyle: 51:21 So you put the heart and the root. And so you put the green in the base and you put the base and the heart and you give them both what they need, you know, because if there was more heart in your re in your stability and your foundation, it would be a different experience. And if there was more foundation in your heart, then that would be a different experience. So, um, that’s one of the parts of the system. So I created this whole system called crystal energy guide, and I teach people how to balance energy, working with crystals

Kimberly: 51:55 On the body, putting

Kyle: 51:56 Them on the body, surrounding the body, you know, creating grids and intentions, working with crystals. And, uh, it’s been such an amazing experience. Everyone just kept seeing me do it. Like I always shared, this is what I’m doing. Everyone was like, teach me, teach me, teach me. So last year we did it with a thousand people in the became crystal therapists. And so we just, every year,

Kimberly: 52:20 Amazing Kyle, you are such an amazing light. I just love your energy, your wisdom. Thank you so much for being here today.
