Namaste Beauties and welcome to our practical enlightenment meditation, where our theme is on Connecting to the True Self. My intention with offering you these meditations is to help you connect deeply to your true self, to your highest potential, and to the peace and joy and love that is inside of you.
I’ve always been passionate about sharing what has helped me the most from the beginning of my journey. It is my great honor to share these meditations with you, because it has had such a profound effect on my life. And I want nothing for you but to reach your highest potential of joy and peace. That is my sincere intention. This is the core theme of my next book. It’s really about starting to identify with the true self with who you really are instead of the surface self or the ego.
When we identify with the ego, that’s when we get into a lot of trouble, as far as comparison, low self-worth, low self-esteem and beating ourselves up and starting to feel more anxiety and depression. Connecting with the formless part of you, the spirit inside of you takes time. It takes you spending time with the formless part of you, and breaking the cycle of egoic identification. It does take some time, but the more time you spend with inner connection, it starts to lessen the grip that really strongholds in ego identification.
This is a really beautiful meditation to do often. This affirmation we’re going to do today is something I do all the time and I’m very excited to offer this one to you.
Let’s get started.
Guided Meditation
Sit either on your chair feet flat or on your meditation cushion with your legs crossed.
Go ahead now and take a couple deep breaths.
Just settle into your body and settle into your space and start to relax your thoughts.
Keeping your spine lifted, go ahead and relax your shoulders and any parts of your body that may feel tight or rigid.
Now, place your fingertips on your third eye. This is the place in between your eyebrows and about an inch up.
The yogis believe this is a chakra point on your chakra. This is where we have the vision of who we are beyond the physical world. This is where we can see more beyond our physical eyes. That’s where we start to really tap into the truth of who we are.
If you place one set of fingertips from one hand on top of the other, just breathe into your third eye, put your attention and energy there and exhale.
Now move your fingertips please to your heart chakra center of your chest. And again, breathe in and breathe out and down to your belly, just above your navel fingertips, stacked on top of the other.
Breathe in breathe.
And again, fingertips lift back up to your third eye. I feel the energy there.
Imagine there’s a warm white light. Deep breath in deep breath out.
Fingertips to heart chakra. Deep breath in, deep breath out with fingertips to belly, above your navel.
Breathe in, breathe out.
One more cycle, just like that.
Fingertips to third eye, breathe in, breathe out fingertips to heart chakra, breathe in, breathe out, and then fingertips down to belly.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Go ahead and let your hands rest on your thighs or your knees palms facing up.
As you take a breath down, imagine that it’s passing down through your spine. Starting up high with your third eye, and passing energy down your heart and down into your belly.
As you exhale, it’s coming up passing through the heart and out through the third eye and out the top of your head and inhaling.
Imagine the current energy is coming down, passing through your third eye, down your heart, down into your belly, then exhaling and coming all the way up through your third eye.
And once again, inhaling down third eye, heart, belly, and exhaling up towards your heart. Third eye grounding your head.
Let’s keep this nice breath flowing, feeling this beautiful line of energy flowing up and down through your spine.
We start to feel the depth of our energy all the way down inside of us, way beyond what we can see with our physical eyes. We start to connect to this formless energy that is deep within us, and that is who you really are.
Keep connecting to your breath.
Setting the Intention for Today
I want to introduce our affirmation or seed intention.
I Am the true self.
I Am the true self.
I Am the true self.
I Am the true self.
I Am the true self.
I Am the truth.
Let’s take a moment and let that start to sink in.
If you’d like to stay here longer and keep breathing, please do so as long as you’d like to. If you feel complete, please bring your hands together in front of her heart and take a moment for gratitude for anything that rises up spontaneously.
I am so grateful for this journey. I’m so grateful for our connection.
Another deep breath in and out.
Om shanti om. Peace and love. Namaste.
